Hi.. First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their kind words of encouragement and support.
Secondly, I would need to apologise.. I haven been blogging properly.. You see, I love to blog.. Tons and tons of words are actually no difficult feat for me.. But lately been bogged down by many stuff..
Beginning with my maternal granny.. She was hospitalised in dec due to a fall in Malaysia. Next, her eldest son, aka my uncle landed in hospital because his high fever refused to subside from an infection. Also, my brother-in-law’s grandfather passed away on the very last day of 2008.
Things started heating up while I set up my online store.. We rushed through events after events for my hubby’s company, stand-in for bookings from the jamming studio and prepared for Chinese New Year Celebrations.
Then, my toddler’s birthday came and we had 2 birthday celebrations for her. To prepare the house, we packed, cleared out rubbish, dump unwanted furniture and cleaned all the windows, shelves, walls and basically everything in the house was cleaned up. Then we got food, and I cooked most of the stuff while hubby helped out everywhere and anywhere.
As my granny and my uncle is still weak, we volunteered to paint their living room for them.. Thats what we did today.. Our arms are still sore from the big project today.. Big project? Yes. Because there is only me and hubby painting.. Had to do everything from moving, cleaning, to painting and clearing up.. Cos we did not want them to help in any way. Just sit around and chat while we do the work.. Whew.. Tired, but felt satisfied that everything was completed, but we ended up arriving late at the childcare.
Poor daughter was waiting there.. And, I tink she was havin a fever, just that the teachers did not notice it.. We got her soup for dinner, fed her medicine, cleaned her up and once her fever subsided, we gave her milk with cereal. Hopefully she doesnt fall ill through the night or it will be another night of sleeplessness for me. Yeah. She was warm last night, but not amounting to a fever.. Still I woke up every hour to check on her.. Sigh.. Just wished she will be healthy tomorrow.
Also, my granny’s 2nd son fell ill in the morning at 5am.. And, is now in the hospital.. We decided to go ahead with the painting as next monday is already chinese new year. There is no more time.. So there he stay, while we paint the house for them. We do hope he recover well enough to be home before chinese new year.
Well, with just a few more days to Chinese New Year.. I have still a lot of chores on my hand.. But I am already thinking about my next sewing project.. Just a matter of time before I cut them out and try it out…
