As we were processing sprees which were ordered, we realise there was a need to address the issue of USA sales tax being applied at the same price to all customers. By making all our customers in the same spree pay the same amount of tax in the spree would unfairly advantage those who bought items that were priced higher. As such, we have devised a way to allow customers to pay only their share of the tax they were suppose to pay. Below is a simple formula for calculating your share of the tax.


(Total amount of USA tax) / (Total amount purchased in spree) x ( Price of your item in USD)

This would give the amount of tax you are suppose to have paid in USD. Simply use the current exchange rate found on our relevant spree page to convert it to SGD.

Please give appropriate credit if you are copying the formula.

P.S: Please do note that the tax is calculated base on price (something like Singapore GST), however additional shipping fees are calculated base on weight. E.g Tax: Higher price = Higher tax. Additional shipping: Higher (volumetric) weight = Higher price.
