I am offering free shipping for all items in my stores…
Q: Free? Really?
A: Yes. Really. Free.
Q: Is the free shipping for ALL the items?
A: Yes. All.
Q: No hidden costs?
A: No! What you see is what you pay! I want it to be like, shopping at a real-life store! Everyone who walk in pays the same price. It does not matter if you live beside me or 1500km away…
Q: Why?
A: As an international online shopper myself, I love free shipping!
Q: What type of shipping is that?
A: I provide free local registered mail/ international registered airmail, with tracking numbers and free insurance for loss of parcel only…
Q: Isnt the expensive for you?
A: Yes. Its the recession, mind you. I will just earn less. Earning a few dollars is better then not earning at all.
Q: That is quite a good deal for free shipping..
A: Yes. I want my buyers to have ease of mind while the parcel is in transit. I do not want my buyers to go through all the worries and fears of lost parcels.
Q: Isnt that very different from other sellers who offer free shipping?
Free shipping often is for the cheapest mode of shipping, no tracking numbers given and certainly no insurance. I have seen sellers who noted that ‘I am not responsible for mail lost in transit’, it makes you feel so unimportant and doesnt reflect well on the sellers too… I want to be different from them.
Q: Are you really able to offer free shipping on all items?
A: I do my best. For items that cannot cover the type of shipping mentioned above, I remove them from my store until I can figure out how to price them comparably and still provide free shipping. Maybe I can bundle them together or give them away as prizes for giveaways and contests…
Q: Would other sellers be angry at your move?
A: Hey!! Other sellers are also my potential buyers! Why would they be angry??
