Being a gym member myself, I have witnessed and seen the amount of plastic bags that gym go-gers use on a daily basis for their gym gears – one for clothes, one for shoes, one for toiletries..you name it. An estimated 800 plastic bags are being used just in my gym alone daily. Multiply that by a year and across various gym locations, that’s over 2.6mil plastic bags in a year!! Imagine the wastage and terrible damage it does to our environment!
