I finally got my contact lenses, after resting my eyes for 2 years.. yes.. 2 years without contact lenses.. Go wedding dinners and other nice places, with my ugly spectacles… But it was a good rest… There were less irritations, less eye discomfort and other problems.. I am glad I could convince myself to rest my eyes.. My eyes during that period were dried and sometimes even red and swollen from irritations..
Coming back to contact lenses, I do feel great having them on.. No more chunky spectacles at functions and events.. I did permanent lenses and the degrees is fitted to my eyes specifically. No need to strain my eyes any longer. Now, I have to let my eyes get used to the contact lenses again as they need abit of adjustments to my thick lenses.. (My astigmatism is really high..)
As I was telling my daughter, I want to be a pretty mummy.. And, getting rid of the chunky spectacles is a first.. ::))
