A friend shared this on Facebook, and I thought it was just brilliant. Entitled ‘The Unsettling Truth About Life’, this short video by Furry Carlos Productions brings visuals to the recordings of British philosopher Alan Watts. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did, and remember not to ‘miss the point the whole way along– [life is] a musical thing and [we are] supposed to sing or dance while the music [is] being played.’ :]
I actually don’t think this is an ‘unsettling’ truth about life! In fact, I find the message extremely uplifting; a challenge, if you will, to grab life by the nuts, not take it too seriously (and that does not mean being feckless either), and remember that the end-goal is what you define/choose it to be, and not anyone/anything else.
