Tips on making your DIY cufflinks:
- Choose embellishments that have a flat backing so that they can be secured on the cufflinks plate.
- Clean and dry embellishments and cufflinks plate with a cloth before applying glue.
- Ask for strong glue that is suitable for metal to fasten embellishments to the cufflink plate.
- Allow the newly-made cufflinks to dry for at least 24 hours before using (or refer to the manufacturer’s instructions on the glue for drying time).
- A word of caution: Cloth and wooden embellishments are not waterproof!
