–>I bought this per recommendation of a friend. I’m happy with my purchase. My baby has to wear a Pavlik harness therefore, only sponge bath is allowed. This product helps to keep her skin clean and smelling good.

–>I use this for what it is, and then I use this also for wetting my childs hair and style it with this. It is very light, like water, and I’m not sure what it does, but her curls are so bouncy and cute when I use this for that purpose. Otherwise, It is nice to have when you want to wash their bottoms and you have no other place to do it. This will help. Also, it smells just wonderful. Like a baby :-)

–>I’m a first time mom and if I’m not busy I’m very tired. This product is a nice short cut and I’m comfortable knowing my baby’s skin is fresh and clean. p.s. I also use this on my face.

–>I keep this on the kitchen table and use it after meals and snacks.

–>I used this product for no-water baths when my daughter was a newborn but still use it today (my daughter is 16 mo). This stuff is great when you have a particularly dirty (& stinky) diaper mess to clean up. The fluid smells nice & really cleans well. It dries quickly leaving no residue.

–>I used this on my son 5 years ago, and when I bought it the first time the woman told me to use it as a make up remover, and I have to say it is the best eye make up remover I’ve ever used, and I haven’t used anything else since.

–>I LOVE this product. I used it on my premie when plain water on a small washcloth wasn’t enough – extremely gentle on skin. (I didn’t use wipes until he was several months old already.) The scent is wonderful and the product effectively cleanses whatever area you use it on. I will invest in more bottles when Baby #2 arrives in February or March. Yes, its expensive, but its worth it.

–>This is the BEST! I originally purchased as a diaper area cleanser but ended up trying it to see if it removed sunscreen (SPF 50+) off my hands after applying to my child and boy does it work!!! Normal soap and water or diaper & handi-wipes just move the oils around. This is the most incredible product I have ever used. I have not had any reaction to the smell since the sunscreen fragrance counteracts any “stink”. My review is definitely 5 Stars

–>This item has worked well on cleaning my son’s diaper and neck area. It has a nice scent and you don’t need to use a lot (which is good considering the cost).

–>A very nice ‘toner’ for baby’s sensitive skin. Removes milk residue, spit-ups, etc. very well, leaving baby’s skin glowing and fresh smelling. No allergic reactions so far — great as a quick, on-the-go solution for cleaning your baby’s face. Works well on baby’s bottom, too! Love it!

–>I LOVE this stuff! I have a six month old baby with very sensitive skin and I have been using this on her since she was just a month or two old with no problems. A few pumps on a wash cloth works so much more effectively to clean than wet wipes.

–>This product worked miracles for my newborn baby’s infant acne. Cleared it up in a few days and she has not had any more breakouts since. I still clean her face with it every day using just a few drops on a cotton ball. I also use the baby body lotion, and both products smell fantastic. Everyone comments about how good she smells!

–>This is the one product I could not live without for my son! I have used it to clean him up from the time he was born. Now that he is a toddler, this product still removes everything from dirt to food stains! He has sensitive skin, and he gets irritated by many other products on the market. But all Mustela products have been great with his skin, and I will continue using them forever!

So, I decided to stop direct feeding since I need to get back to work really soon… Even if we both learn to breastfeed NOW, we would need to take a break in 9days’ time… And afterward, whenever I need to go for my appointments, breastfeeding will be interrupted. How I wish I can feed directly, but alas.. My life is not what it used to be… When you receive support for a strong cause, you feel motivated and encouraged.. But when you do not receive support and are not given the chance to do what you think is right, you would need to change course and move in the 2nd best direction.

My mum asked me to breastfeed directly whenever I am with the baby, but the thing is.. my nipples are still cracked and painful.. the baby’s latch is still wrong.. the positioning is still a problem.. the stress is there whenever the baby screams for milk… I dread each feeding for the pain is really too much.. and there is not enough time for us to learn together, not to mention lack of help and support from someone out there..

If I have the luxury of staying home just to look after the baby for 4 months (the standard maternity leave in Singapore), I would continue with learning to direct feed.. but.. too bad.. I only rested for 11days before I picked up the broom and swept the entire house.. 20days from the birth, I am returning to work already… DH has changed a lot.. Its not what it used to be.. All loving, helpful, supportive, encouraging, interested… Its no longer like tat.. And adapt, I must. Be strong for the kids.. They need me.

So, back to topic.. I am currently giving both expressed breast milk and formula.. Baby is growing well, I am on the road to recovery and more physically able to cope with providing the love and care for my 2 little princesses.. Wish me luck…
